What you get

Your whole rebuild, under one licensed contractor

After water, storm, or fire damage, the rebuild is rarely the hard part on its own. The hard part is proving what was lost, getting the construction scope to line up with what the adjuster approved, and putting the house back to code, all while you are living through the disruption. When that work is split across a contractor, an adjuster, and you in the middle, that is where rebuilds stall.

Hildebrand manages residential restoration across Manatee, Hillsborough, and Pinellas counties: drywall, framing, flooring, finish work, and full rebuilds. We document the damage, coordinate the construction scope with your insurance adjuster, and rebuild to Florida Building Code. We do not negotiate the claim itself, that is between you and your carrier, but we make sure the construction scope and pricing match what was approved so you are not stuck in the middle.

If the roof took damage too, our sister company Coastline Roofing handles the roof repair or replacement, so the whole rebuild stays coordinated under one team.

How it works

How insurance restoration works

Restoration is not a menu with set prices, because the scope is set by your claim, not by us. Here is exactly how we work alongside your insurance so the rebuild matches what was approved. The in-home consultation and written estimate are free.

  1. 1

    We document the damage

We come out, walk the damage with you, and document it in detail with photos and measurements so there is a clear, written record of what needs to be rebuilt.

  2. 2

We coordinate the scope with your adjuster

We work directly with your insurance adjuster to line the construction scope up with what the claim covers, so the work that gets approved is the work that actually puts your home back together.

  3. 3

We rebuild to Florida Building Code

Once the scope is approved we pull the permits, rebuild to current Florida Building Code, and pass every inspection, all under one licensed contractor from start to final walk-through.

To be clear and honest: we do not negotiate the claim itself, that is between you and your insurer. What we do is make sure the rebuild matches the approved scope, so the construction scope and pricing line up with your claim and you are not stuck in the middle.

FAQ

Home restoration questions, answered

Can you work with my insurance company on a restoration?

We document the damage, coordinate the construction scope with your adjuster, and rebuild to Florida Building Code. We do not negotiate the claim itself, that is between you and your insurer, but we make sure the rebuild matches the approved scope.

How fast can you start a restoration?

We schedule restorations as quickly as the insurance approval allows. Once the scope is finalized we usually start within 2 to 4 weeks.

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes. In-home consultations and written estimates are free. Call or text (941) 284-2218 to schedule.

Will the price change once you start?

We put the full scope, materials, timeline, and price in writing before any work begins. If something genuinely unexpected comes up behind a wall, we talk to you and get your approval before we do anything, never after. No change-order surprises.

Do you handle permits?

Yes. As a licensed Florida general contractor we pull every required permit and meet every Florida Building Code inspection. You do not have to coordinate any of that with the county yourself.

Are you licensed and insured in Florida?

Yes. Hildebrand Construction & Remodeling is a Florida Certified Building Contractor, license CBC1257253, and fully insured. We have been Florida-licensed since 2009, and Josh has 22 years of hands-on construction experience. You can verify our license at myfloridalicense.com.
