Our Process
Here is exactly what working with Hildebrand looks like, from the first visit to the final walk-through. One licensed contractor owns the whole job, you always know who is accountable, and the scope and price are in writing before any work begins.
Florida Certified Building Contractor · License CBC1257253 · Licensed since 2009
You deal with the same licensed builder, start to finish
One licensed contractor owns your project from the first visit to the final walk-through, so the company that plans your remodel is the same one accountable for building it. You always know exactly who you are working with.
Every step below is built to do one thing: keep you informed and in control. You get a detailed written estimate before any work begins, we pull the permits and meet the inspections, and you get a clear update every week the crew is on site. Everything is in writing, so you always know what comes next.
From first visit to final walk-through in five steps
The same process on every project, whether it is a single bathroom or a whole-home renovation.
-
Free In-Home Consultation
We come out to your home, walk the project with you, and listen to what you want to accomplish. There is no trip fee, no pressure, and no high-pressure sales pitch. We take measurements, talk through your ideas and your budget, and flag anything that affects the scope, like load-bearing walls, permits, or code requirements, so there are no surprises later.
You meet the people who will actually run your job, and you get straight answers from a licensed contractor instead of a commissioned closer.
-
Written Estimate and Plan
You get a detailed written estimate that spells out the scope, the materials, the timeline, and the warranty before any work begins. Everything is in writing, line by line, so you can see exactly what you are paying for and compare it fairly against any other bid.
We walk you through it together and answer every question before you sign anything. Everything is in writing, and the price you approve is the price we hold.
-
Permits and Schedule
As a licensed Florida general contractor, we pull every required permit and handle the county paperwork so you do not have to coordinate any of it yourself. We line up the trades, order the materials, and lock in a firm start date.
Before the first day of demo, you know exactly when we start, the order the work happens in, and roughly how long each phase takes. You are never left guessing about the schedule.
-
Build Under One Contractor
Our crew runs the job day to day, all under one licensed contractor. We keep the work area sealed off and the site clean, build to Florida Building Code, and meet every required inspection as the project moves forward.
You get a clear update every week, so you always know what happened this week and what is coming next. If something genuinely unexpected turns up behind a wall, we stop, show you, and get your approval before we do anything, never after.
-
Final Walk-Through and Warranty
When the work is done, we walk the finished project with you, end to end. We build a punch list together, take care of anything on it, and do not consider the job complete until you are satisfied with the result.
Then we hand over your written workmanship warranty and the manufacturer documentation on everything we installed, so your coverage is on paper and easy to find when you need it.
What our process gets right on every project
A remodel goes smoothly when a few key things are handled right from the start. Our process is built around exactly those things, on every job.
One Point of Contact
You deal with the licensed contractor whose name is on the door from the first visit to the last. The person who quotes your project is the same person accountable for building it.
One Coordinated Crew
Hildebrand runs the job and coordinates every trade under one contractor, so the work moves steadily from start to finish with one person responsible for the whole project.
Permits and Inspections Handled
We pull every required permit and meet every Florida Building Code inspection. The work is done legally and to code, which protects your home, your insurance, and your resale value.
